1- Columbus Zoo, Aquarium And Water Park
In terms of acreage, the Columbus Zoo & Aquarium is by far one of the largest in the country at 582 acres. This enormous attraction offers visitors an 18-hole golf course, a water park, and an amusement park. There are over 10,000 animals that call this zoo home, representing over 575 different species.
This zoo is also famous for its well-loved zookeeper, the late Jack Hanna, known as "Jungle Jack", who has been on countless television programs over the years promoting animal awareness and conservation and even has his own successful television show. The Center of Science and Industry (COSI) is one of the original kid-tastic attractions in Columbus. COSI is a nationally esteemed science center that has delighted Central Ohio with all things science for 55 years, inspiring interest in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) topics and delivering our experiential, "hands-on fun" brand of learning. Across our 320,000 square foot facility, we bring science to life through 300+ interactive experiences, nine galleries featuring world class traveling and permanent exhibitions, explosive live shows, our little kidspace® exhibit for learners birth through first grade, and a Planetarium. Make sure to visit the newly opened Dinosaur Gallery! In the American Museum of Natural History Dinosaur Gallery at COSI, you can get up close to dinosaurs like the incredible T. rex and find out why these amazing animals never really vanished from the Earth. In the exhibit you’ll see; a full size cast of a Tyrannosaurus Rex, 100 Million year old fossils, A 6-foot-long mechanical T. rex model that walks in place, illustrating how biomechanical studies have helped paleontologists learn more about the typical speed and gait of a rampaging tyrannosaur.

3- Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens
The Franklin Park Conservatory The Conservatory offers numerous natural experiences for all ages to enjoy. Generations have been creating memories since it's opening in 1993. Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens is Central Ohio’s premier botanical garden and home to the iconic John F. Wolfe Palm House which dates back to 1895. Situated just east of Franklin Park, the Conservatory is approximately two miles from downtown Columbus.
The visitor experience spans about 13-acres and is comprised of the Conservatory building, The Scotts Miracle-Gro Foundation Children’s Garden and the Grand Mallway. The experience consists of botanical biomes, lush gardens, special horticulture and art exhibitions, and seasonal offerings. A collection of glass works by artist Dale Chihuly is also on display and included with admission.
The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company Community Garden Campus is a sprawling 4-acre garden adjacent to the visitor experience that encompasses an apiary, rose pavilion, berry house and 40 community garden plots as well as, a demonstration kitchen and Live-Fire Cooking Theater. This area is open to the public at no charge from dawn until dusk.
Seasonal exhibitions currently include Orchids, and family favorites Blooms & Butterflies, Topiaries at the Conservatory and Conservatory Aglow. The Conservatory hosts special, temporary exhibitions by national and international artists each year.
A variety of special events and activities are available throughout the year, as well as, a full menu of classes, workshops and camps focusing on gardening, cooking, fine art and wellness.

4-Legoland Discovery Center
The Legoland Discovery Center is an indoor playground for everything Lego that is absolutely great for kids in Columbus. It is located at Easton Town Center shopping and families interact together and explore their imagination and creativity through a world of open play.
